We have no desire to be the biggest, but we do strive to be the best. 

Lighthouse Property Development Ltd has original roots dating back to 1986, when the Principal Mark Cooper, established a Construction Company as a Commercial Builder in Auckland, New Zealand.

Throughout the 1980’s the Company became a dominant force in the Auckland Building Industry delivering a wide range of Projects including Industrial, Commercial, Retail, Education, Infrastructure and Residential.

In the 1990’s the company followed a natural progression into Property Development becoming one of the first Developers to embrace the inner-City Living concept that saw older commercial buildings re-purposed into Apartments. It was one of the first Developers to undertake high density housing in City Fringe Zones that saw the birth of the “Terrace House” market.

The 2000’s saw the company expand its operations to America establishing Pacific Northstar Property Group LLC in Downtown Los Angeles before moving to Beverly Hills. During its time there the company successfully Developed 6 Multi Family Projects totaling some NZ$300m in value. The last Project it completed in California was 267 South Reeves Drive, a 23 Unit Luxury Condominium Project a few blocks from Rodeo Drive.

 

At the time, unable to source appropriately qualified Californian Builders, Pacific Northstar incorporated its own Construction arm to self-build 4 of the 6 Projects sourcing its entire senior management team from Auckland, New Zealand.

In addition to its 2000’s activities in Auckland and Los Angeles Pacific Northstar established an office in the Ski Resort area of Crans Montana, Switzerland where it was involved in 4 Projects focusing on high end Ski Chalets.

In 2016 a return to New Zealand saw the incorporation of Lighthouse Property Development Ltd to undertake medium sized Industrial, Commercial, Retail and Residential Development Projects in Auckland and subsequently LHP Construction Ltd, its construction arm returning to its building roots.

With a track record spanning over 35 years its Principal has successfully delivered over 2000 Apartment/Terrace houses in 3 different countries.

It now continues its operations exclusively New Zealand.

Never Faulted

We have an established and credible track record of proceeding with Projects sold “Off Plan”. We have never elected to cancel a Residential Sale and Purchase Agreement.u.

No price increases

We have never increased a Sale and Purchase Agreement price over that in the original agreement.

No one sided Sunset Clauses

Our Sale and Purchase Agreements do not include Sunset Clauses that can be cancelled by the Developer.

Trust Accounts

All deposits are held in Solicitors Trust Accounts until Units are fully completed with CCC and Titles issued.

Attention to Detail

We build with meticulous attention to Code and focus on the detail you can’t see not just that on display. Quality of finish is of the utmost importance to us.

Top Consultants

We use only the highest calibre of Industry recognised Consultants on our Projects and strive to utilise the same Consultants on every Project.
